Die Herrin der Höllenhunde ("The Mistress of the Hellhounds") is the 269th issue of Spuk Geschichten ("Haunted Stories"), a German comic anthology series primarily following the exploits of the 17th century demon hunter Arsat.

In the eponymous main story, Arsat, Carmilla and Gino travel through Egypt, when they are approached by a group of riders, an old hag escorted by soldiers. Identifying Arsat as a Kosmos-Priest she invites them to follow her to the palace of her mistress, princess Aisha. Arsat learns from Aisha that the palace contains an doorway to the world of darkness, which has cursed energies seeping out of it. She hopes that her councillor, the hag, together with Arsat may be strong enough to close it. When Arsat comes around to perform the ritual with the councilor, he learns too late that the ritual opens the door, unleashing a pack of hellhounds that the princess sends after him, Carmilla and Gino to kill them. Escaping the castle Arsat tumbles down a cliff into a river when he holds off the dogs on a tree trunk bridge. Carmilla and Gino get captured by the soldiers of the princess, who use nets to entangle them.
