Der Hexer aus dem Morgenland ("The Warlock from the Orient") is the 60nd issue of Spuk Geschichten ("Haunted Stories"), a German comic anthology series primarily following the exploits of the 17th century demon hunter Arsat.

In the Story "Im Bann des Zauberhelms" ("Under the spell of the magic Helmet"), Philippos a young fisherman, decides to ignore the taboo of his village that forbids fishing on the north-side of an island, in hope of a big catch. Pulling in his nets he finds an ancient helm among the fishes. Donning it more out of jest than anything, it renders him unconcious. When he awakens he finds himself much stronger and deciding to head home he finds the shore strange, with a palace looming ahead. Deciding to have a look he is brought to the king of the palace by his subjects. The King, taking Philippos for knight, tasks him to rescue his daughter who has been kidnapped by witches. Following a winged demon, he finds Danae on a cliff top, shackled to a rock and about to be sacrificed.
