Description
In story "Das Geheimnis des Indischen Fakirs" ("The Secret of the indian Fakir"), an english nobleman witnesses a Fakir performing a teleportation feat with Sarita, the fakirs daughter, in a club. He reads up on the "magic" of the fakirs and becomes obsessed with the though of having his spirit being projected into the past or future, seeing immense business potential in it. The Fakir rejects any monetary offer he makes, stating it would damn the lords soul if he would take his spirit with him. He instead recommends the lord travelling to india and learning the art himself. The lord then decides to kidnap the fakir and his daughter, tasking his henchmen to snatch them in the street and bring them to his home. There he threatens to kill the Sarita if the Fakir doesnt comply.
